Terrariums
All of my terrariums are made with real plants! Most plants are either rescues from clearance sections or cuttings and babies from my personal collection. Most of the vessels and planters have been thrifted or donated and a majority of the large stones or crystals are bought from local small businesses. I also love doing themed terrariums! Most of my themed terrariums are commissions for gifts and tend to be open terrariums with succulents.
Open vs Enclosed Terrariums
Open Terrariums are ones where the plants and other materials need less humidity, are too big or grow to fast to be in a sealed vessel. These terrariums usually consist of succulents, cacti, vining or larger plants in an open air vessel or planter.
Enclosed Terrariums are ones where the plants can or prefer to have a higher humidity. These plants usually consists of live moss, nerve plants, polka dot plants, aluminum plants, crotons, and other plants that are slow growing and love humidity in a sealed glass container.
